Dario Firuzabadì (Rome, 1982), multi-instrumentalist of Italian-Iranian origins.

In the early years of childhood he approaches music with a classical background, through the study of the violin and developing a deep interest in orchestral arrangements.

During adolescence, after abandoning classical study, he began to compose and learn many instruments as a self-taught, and then focused on the electric guitar, an instrument with which he plays in different rock and metal formations.

Passionate about music, culture and ethnic philosophy, in search of an instinctive and primordial language he approaches the world of Afro-Brazilian percussion. In 2010 he became deputy artistic director of the Bandão percussion orchestra and founded the ‘Parranda Groove Factory’ project, characterized by the union of an orchestra of percussion and electronic production techniques, with whom he released the album “Nothing but the rhythm” for MarteLabel in 2016.

In 2018, in collaboration with Simone Nati, he began producing deep-house and downtempo songs with a strong ethnic influence, founding the ‘Z / F’ project, which contains the sum of human and musical experiences accumulated up to then.

In 2019 he composed the soundtrack of the site-specific installation “Dreamscape”, combining ambient music and environmental recordings taken in the area of Radicondoli (Siena), a composition which was then summarized in the album “A quiet village” which will be released in September 2020 by ROHS! Recordings.
