Obscure, extraterrestrial forces, advanced engineering urgently feeding adventurous night visions meet garage-house classicism and the finest Djing sensitivity yearning for designing the ultimate groove.
There might be no better sentence to describe Nightdrivers, a devastating symbiosis aiming to quake the dance floor, a project born in Berlin from the studio partnership between Mass Prod and Rufus Niccolo`.
Two friends, two strong musical characters complementing each other, Nightdrivers published their first track, “Quanto Tempo Ci Rimane” (Fabio Della Torre edit), in early summer 2013 on the Bosconi Stallions compilation series of 12-inches.
The relationship of Rufus and Mass Prod with Bosconi Records is not new. The first has been essential in shaping the sound of the label, nowadays one of the freshest dance music platforms hailing from Italy. The second has provided already two 12″ EPs for Bosconi, reaching consistent popularity internationally.
After recently founding together (and with Herve Corti) the pre-apocalyptic experimental project Tru West for Marmo Music Recordings, it`s now time for Nightdrivers, a mix house and techno characterized by quirky sound effects, sunny melodic and vocal parts and striking 909 rhythm programming.
After the debut EP Driveways on Bosconi Records they also released on Holic Trax, Claap, Tenax and on their own omonim Nighdtrivers imprint.
